Our move from Wisconsin to Colorado was a little more rocky then we had anticipated. Everything is all smoothed out now and we are settled in to our temporary home. I have hired a staff of 2 people to help me with listing inventory and keeping the website up to date.
We will be adding fabric to our website in the beginning of 2010. If there is fabric you'd like to see in our store, send us and email or call. Our next fabric order will be placed around the first of the year.
Other fun and exciting news going on here at Snow Top Quilts, we are putting in the works, a quilt retreat! I'd like to know what everyone thinks about a quilt retreat. Here are some questions we have been asking ourselves about the retreat. Send us an email with your answers to help us better plan your retreat. We were thinking of having it in late September or early October.
- How long would your ideal quilting retreat be? 3-4 days? 5 days? a week?
- Who would you like to see as a quest speaker/teacher?
- Would you rather bring your own fabric for projects or have us provide fabric for you?
- If we could provide a long arm machine for your tops would you use it for a nominal fee?
- Would you like a group tour of the surrounding area and a trip up Pikes Peak?
- What types of classes would you like to take?
This retreat will be advertised and more details provided in the coming month or two. We are in search of a prime location to hold your retreat.
